The Multimedia Design Discipline within our Bachelor of Design (BDes) offers an innovative and comprehensive curriculum that prepares students to thrive in the ever-evolving fields of digital media, interactive design, and visual communication.
This program is designed for those who are passionate about merging art, technology, and storytelling to create impactful digital experiences. Similarly, Strategic Design Management is an interdisciplinary field that merges design thinking with business strategy, preparing students to become thought leaders and innovators in the corporate environment. At DIDI, our Bachelor of Design (BDes) in Strategic Design Management equips students with the skills and knowledge to uncover new opportunities, generate consumer insights, improve business processes, and create impactful customer experiences.

Curriculum
Pairing courses
Students enrolled in our cross-disciplinary degree combine two design disciplines, which prepares them for the ever-changing job market. As part of their studies at DIDI, students take a selection of studios, workshops, and lectures.
The first-year experience consists of the basics of the four disciplines we offer so that students understand their options. Under the academic advisor's guidance, students select the cross-disciplinary path that best suits their strengths, interests, and aspirations.
Students present an independent capstone project within their cross-disciplinary course at the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation during the last year of study.
Multimedia Design
Students learn to develop new frameworks for ethical human-machine interactions and multisensory interfaces to create mixed-reality environments that widen human perception, intelligence, and experiences.
Strategic Design Management
Students apply design principles, tools, and methods as catalysts for systemic and organizational transformation by shaping strategic decision-making and branding, promoting design-driven entrepreneurship, and responsible innovation.
