About: The Barbering program offers students the chance to learn essential skills and techniques in barbering, preparing them for a successful career in the hair industry. Emphasis is placed on both practical and theoretical knowledge necessary to excel as a barber.

Career Outcomes: Graduates can pursue various career paths, including working as barbers in salons, opening their own barbershops, or providing grooming services. Additionally, opportunities may exist in education, sales of grooming products, and working with fashion and entertainment industries.

Delmar is proud to offer Government recognized Barber Training. Successful completion of our 525 Hour barbering program will not only give you the skills and knowledge needed to pass the apprenticeship exams but these hours are included as your required technical training. All of our staff are certified Red Seal journeypersons with many years of experience in the trade.

They are able to offer cutting edge in depth training including theory and practical sessions of study.

Delmar students have the opportunity to be involved in competitions, industry events and photo shoots. Students have access to guest speakers and color education classes.
