The planning of the school development plan brings together Daye University’s school-running philosophy, the responsibilities and significance of modern higher education, the school’s traditions and characteristics, and the consensus of the entire school’s faculty and students, with "Excellent Teaching", "Industry-University R&D" and "Sustainable Management" as the Three major school development strategies. It is expected to position itself as an "industry-university-oriented comprehensive university" and move towards the vision of a "sustainable green university".
