Graphic Design Program affiliated to Gölyaka Vocational School Design Department was established in 2009-2010 academic year at associate degree level and trains technicians in the graphic design profession. Graphic Design, reflecting the interaction of consumer culture and folk culture; As a result of the development of the market economy, it is used as the most important tool in creating a whole of messages that eliminate the communication gap between manufacturers and consumers. It is determined by the effective promotion of the products that we are intertwined within all kinds of mass media, on the television, on the internet, in other words, by reaching its target. This requires knowing and using many design criteria and graphic principles, from choosing the appropriate target audience to customer requests, from the slogan to the selected visuals, from the colour used to the composition created.
This program is structured to develop our students' creative qualities and enable them to specialize in the fields of graphic design, printed media, and digital design. It aims to train individuals who can market them, produce services in the quality required by the sector about their field, and be responsible for the quality of their work.
