Career Outcomes : Graduates can pursue various roles including commercial pilots, flight instructors, and aviation managers. Career opportunities may also extend to positions in airline operations, safety management, and air traffic control. The skills developed in this program provide a competitive edge in the growing field of aviation.

The theory for obtaining a pilot’s license and other subjects is taught at the Faculty of Transportation Sciences, CTU in Prague. The Faculty holds the Approved Training Organization Certificate CZ/ATO – 010 for the training of transport pilots (aircraft), which was issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Czech Republic.

Practical flying training takes place in one of the partner flight schools (currently DSA or F-AIR) according to the student’s choice. The students choose the flight school to complete their training at the beginning of the first semester (during the first month of study). Students pay for the practical pilot training from their own resources. The cost of the pilot training for obtaining an ATPL (frozen) is approximately 1 500 000 CZK, including VAT. The costs do not include fuel and landing fees, which may vary for each individual training and can reach up to approximately 10 % of the price of the training itself. The costs of individual flight schools and the conditions for obtaining loans vary, so students will be given the opportunity and enough time to get acquainted in detail with individual schools so that they can choose the optimal solution for their situation.
