Course description

This course is ideal if you have a degree in a discipline other than accounting and are looking to break into the field. At Curtin, you can step into the field of accounting for the first time to expand your career prospects. We offer a progressive approach to obtaining a qualification in professional accounting. The course builds your understanding and skills through theoretical study and real-life cases on topics such as corporate law and taxation law, financial accounting and management accounting. You’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of accounting, including the professional knowledge and standards required for advancement in your career. When you complete a master degree course, you may be eligible for associate membership of CPA Australia. You could also apply for entry into the CAANZ graduate program, as well as exemptions from all of ACCA’s Foundation in Accounting modules.

  • A Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting AND
