The doctoral program in Audiology at the Graduate Center leads students to the Au.D. degree, awarded by the Graduate Center in collaboration with Brooklyn College and Hunter College. Earlier this year, The CUNY Board of Trustees approved the transfer of the degree granting authority from the Graduate Center to Brooklyn College. The administrative move of the program is pending approvals and the timeline for the transition is not known. There will be no change in faculty, clinical sites, or curriculum. Courses will continue to be offered at each of the campuses and clinical internship practica will continue to take place at the Speech and Hearing Centers located on the Brooklyn and Hunter College campuses and in the Audiology Suite located at the Graduate Center campus.

The program incorporates comprehensive academic and clinical training under a nationally and internationally recognized doctoral faculty. Externship placement opportunities at world-renowned medical centers and clinical facilities will provide students with clinical experiences in early identification, comprehensive assessment, and audiologic habilitative/rehabilitative services delivered to the diverse multicultural, multiethnic population residing in the New York metropolitan area.
