Introduction
Caucasus School of Governance (CSG) offers state-of-the-art programs in International Relations and Public Administration at both the BA and MA levels, while from 2016 CSG also offers a Ph.D. program in International Relations. At the school, students gain extensive knowledge to become professional civil servants or international relations experts.
The faculty of the Caucasus School of Governance includes highly qualified lecturers and outstanding practitioners of the field. The School aims to graduate a generation of future leaders who are rooted in the highest values and standards of professional and academic excellence. Since the academic year 2017, CSG has offered English language instruction for its BA program in IR.
Key Features:
- The program comprises 240 ECTS (60 ECTS covered each academic year, 30 ECTS per semester);
- During the freshman and sophomore years, students acquire fundamental background knowledge in the history of the development of civilization and the development of political thought as well as fundamental skills in research methods in social sciences;
- During the junior and senior years, students acquire deeper professional specialization and are able to follow various tracks of concentration;
- The School hosts the Institute of Peace Studies (IPS) which involves students in its various activities: preparing a thematic newsletter, grant writing, conference, and workshop organization, research;
- CSG is an institutional member of the Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe (NISPAcee)
- The program provides robust second-language training in French, German, Spanish, Russian, and many others

The aim of the BA program in International Relations is to provide a broad range of theoretical and practical knowledge in the system, structures, and theories of international relations and give a comprehensive academic knowledge of the institutional, economic, and political processes taking place at the global stage. The program equips its graduates with the scientific and practical skills needed to evaluate and analyze processes taking place in international relations and provides deep interdisciplinary knowledge.
