The CURRENT Architect is an essential professional in modern society, due to the growth of cities, due to the degree of complexity that the building has to satisfy the residential, commercial, industrial, tourist production and a series of buildings and spaces to live, working, passing through or resting in free time. Our society is rapidly transforming in the 21st century, and architecture is one of the disciplines that has evolved the most. Economic activities have multiplied their efforts and new realities and trends have appeared that we would not have dreamed of ten years ago and that demand spaces that are well adapted to their needs, but also concerned with being efficient and sustainable. Every construction that man makes impacts an environment, be it natural or an existing one is transformed, and this intervention must be done in an efficient, sustainable, and aesthetic way, with rational use of materials and with conditions suitable for carrying out specific activities or of any kind. It is in this universe where Architecture has its reason for being, where it is a real need, which has always been present in the development of humanity, combining artistic and technical factors and creating the places where a man carries out his activities of residence, production and leisure. Construction, traditionally one of the most vigorous and technically changing productive activities, pushes the rest of the economy, and it has had to adapt to these changes, becoming more aware of new trends and streamlining its processes. The way of building changes every day with new materials and with new shapes and aesthetics and better use of construction elements present in our tropical or imported environment. As a consequence, Architecture, like all other professions, is constantly changing and this is what sustains the Degree in Architecture at the Creative University.

With a solid preparation in that direction, our students will receive intense training and education, and where first-order trends such as BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING (BIM) are one of the technical foundations of their graduates.
