Location

Cranfield University campus is 40 minutes away from central London by train, with the nearest towns being Milton Keynes and Bedford. London Luton airport is the closest to the University, while Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted are all easily accessible via train and coach.

Cranfield Defence and Security is around 50 mins from London by train and around 25 mins from Bristol by train. Bath, Cheltenham, Bristol, and Oxford are all within an hour’s drive, and London less than two hours away by car.

Accommodation

We offer both catered and self-catered on-campus accommodation, from halls of residence to shared houses, apartments for couples to houses for families.

The University can also help to find private accommodation in nearby towns and villages. University rooms on the Shrivenham campus are generally reserved for military students.

      The School of Management provides excellent teaching and learning facilities, with comprehensive audio-visual equipment and 24/7 wireless internet access. There are spacious areas both inside and out, for breaks, work or relaxation.

      All our teaching facilities are designed to enhance your learning experience. Our horseshoe-shaped lecture theatres encourage discussion and debate and we have meeting rooms reserved for group activities and areas for private study.

      The School is equipped with a computer studio, a television and radio studio and students can also access library services that offer access to an extensive collection of printed and electronic resources – amongst the most comprehensive to be found in any management school.

      Kings Norton Library is home to the Bloomberg Suite, which provides access to the widely-used Bloomberg database of high quality and live financial news and data - on industries, global markets, economic indicators, equities, bonds and derivatives. Cranfield is one of only a few business schools and universities across the UK with access to Bloomberg.

      The School also boasts the Cranfield Management Development Centre, an award-winning, purpose-built residential management training centre. These facilities create an ideal environment conducive to effective learning, whilst also providing the high standard of accommodation expected by global business leaders.
