Introduction

The Film Department is a writer/director pathway. Students are immersed in the art of filmmaking—from initial concept, to script, to the editing booth. Students experiment with language, sound design, and lighting; collaborating with peers from across the College’s eight performing and visual arts departments.

Students work in narrative, documentary, and experimental filmmaking. They explore the art and the craft of cinema, making film in an art school setting that supports the development of their creative visions.
