The Department of Nursing educates students in the study programme Nursing in the Bachelor degree study which is accredited by the requirements of the European Union and whose diploma is recognized in all the member states of the European Union. Furthermore, the Department offers a variety of speciality studies for professionals from practice. In university education, the Department personnel are recognized experts in Slovakia, which is proved by their university textbooks used in non-medical healthcare studies. The Department organizes events focused on promoting a healthy lifestyle for the public and the university academics. It intensively cooperates with the university hospitals abroad and provides the possibilities of attractive internships for its students.
