M.S. in Food Science and Nutrition

We offer you the ability to specialize in either food science or nutrition. Our food science specialization will provide you with educational and research opportunities in food systems, microbiology, and food chemistry. Our nutrition specialization will provide you with educational and research opportunities in molecular, clinical, and community nutrition.

Our Food Science Specialization focuses on the health properties of food, food microbiology, safety, and chemistry. This specialization will prepare you to be food science expert. Our Nutrition Specialization focuses on the relationship between nutrition and health. Our goal is to give you a deep understanding of basic and applied nutritional science, so you can become leaders in the nutrition field.
