Introduction

This degree will offer the opportunity for you to transfer to a Bachelor’s degree program in Agriculture. Programs of this nature encompass a variety of global aspects from the basics of care for plants, animals and ecosystems to the socio-economic aspects of world hunger and relief.

Agricultural and Food Science Technicians work in food, fibre and animal research, production and processing. Use science to test methods to improve crop yield, quality,

pest/disease resistance and research and develop production technology, quality control, packaging, processing, and food use.

Soil and water conservationists implement soil or water management techniques and Advise land users, such as farmers, on plans and conservation solutions.
