Introduction

The Agriculture Department offers courses from various agricultural fields including The Agricultural Industry, Agronomy, Introduction to Agricultural Economics, Introduction to Animal Science, Dairy Science, Horticulture, Livestock Evaluation, Marketing of Agriculture Products, and Wildlife Conservation and Management. Students are exposed to concepts, given hands-on experience in the agricultural field, and introduced to profitable farm and ranch management theories. Upon completion of an associate program, students will be prepared to transfer to a four-year institution to continue their studies in any of these agriculture fields.
