Introduction
The master’s and doctoral program in Psychological Science uses English as a language of instruction. Our program’s mission is to develop world-class researchers who advance the frontier of psychological science as well as practitioners who apply sceintific knowledge to make differences in the contexts where insights into human behaviors are needed. Our partnership with Claremont Graduate University, USA, and the University of Queensland, Australia, provides our students and faculty members with opportunities for research collaboration and scholastic exchange, opening opportunities for high-quality research and publications.
We will be accepting applications in the following three areas.
Social Psychology
The social psychology area aims to explain human behaviors, thoughts, and feelings through the scientific study of the interaction between individual factors and the social environment. We investigate research topics as diverse as personality, emotion, attitudes, relationships, team and group behaviors, intergroup relations, and aggression. This knowledge can be applied in various contexts, e.g., workplace, social change, legal and justice procedure, social behaviors on digital platforms, and health behaviors.
Cognitive Psychology
The cognitive psychology area studies human cognitive processes, encompassing sensation, perception, attention, memory, decision-making, problem-solving, and language. Our main methodology is behavioral experimentation. At the same time, our field is connected to other areas in cognitive sciences, such as neuroscience, artificial intelligence, philosophy, and linguistics.
Business Psychology
The business psychology area focuses on applying theories and research from diverse fields of psychology to understand the behaviors of stakeholders in business settings. Our research and application span topics such as customer and employee experience design and management; customer decision-making processes; talent recruitment, selection, and development using psychological principles and psychometrically sound assessment tools; leadership, and team development.
