Introduction
The Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University has always encouraged interdisciplinary research and high-quality academic and industrial collaboration. The research instrumentation of the Department is world-class. Cooperative agreements have also been established with internationally respected universities and institutes around the world.
Graduate Programs
We offer two graduate programs: 1) Chemistry and 2) Green Chemistry & Sustainability. Both programs focus on cutting-edge research in all areas of modern chemistry, which could be categorized into three main research themes: green & sustainable chemistry, materials chemistry, and chemical biology & medicinal chemistry. Further, not only solid chemistry background, students from the Green Chemistry & Sustainability program will be equipped with design thinking and entrepreneurial skills so that they can efficiently innovate through their research for a sustainable future.
