Distinction Between Life Coaching and Counseling
Life coaching is distinct from counseling or therapy in both purpose and process. While counseling emphasizes healing from emotional pain or past trauma, life coaching focuses on growth, direction, and proactive change. A Christian Life Coach partners with clients to discern their present circumstances, clarify their divine calling, and design actionable strategies for spiritual and personal advancement. Coaching provides structure, motivation, and accountability, empowering individuals to move forward in alignment with God’s will and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
