The Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Physical Education at the Catholic University of Brasilia (UCB) is completing 20 years in 2019. During that time, it trained more than 300 masters and 80 doctors, who are working at the various federal and state universities in the country. country, state secretaries, as well as in private educational institutions, gyms, sports clubs, clinics, and medical centers specialized in physical exercise.

With renowned professors in the national and international scene, the Program focuses on Physical Activity, Health, and Human Performance, in four lines of research: Biological Aspects Related to Physical Activity and Health; Sociocultural and Pedagogical Aspects Related to Physical Activity and Health; Physical Exercise, Rehabilitation, and Chronic Noncommunicable Diseases; Human Performance.

In an attempt to serve students from all regions of the country, the Program offers its disciplines in modules in the most varied forms, with weekly, monthly blocks and in different shifts, consolidating itself as one of the best and most respected Stricto Sensu Programs in Brazil.

The activities developed within the scope of the Program, in line with institutional policies, whether through each discipline offered in the curriculum, for its research and extension projects, for the training of human resources, and for its intellectual production, are always supported by ethics, methodological rigor and a commitment to the training of researcher professors, with the aim of returning competent professionals, critical and capable of working in the various areas of the academic, scientific and technological environment to society, highlights the Program Coordination.
