Experience Carl Benz School of Engineering's Summer School
Join one of our summer programs to take a sneak peek into the world of engineering. The unique combination of challenging lectures and workshops in engineering and leisure activities addresses technically interested students from age 16 – 19. The Carl Benz School offers two Summer Programs, the Carl Benz School Summer School at the Campus in Karlsruhe, Germany and the Summer Engineering Academy at the KIT branch in Suzhou, China. Both programs provide hands-on activities, company visits and lectures for young students to gain a first impression of the field of engineering.

The Summer School's lectures and institute visits place emphasis on railway system technology, automobiles, robotics, energy and virtual engineering. Participants also have the chance to experience various hands-on activities during the workshops. The visit to the world-famous Daimler AG completes our academic agenda.
The many exciting excursions give you the opportunity to become acquainted with Karlsruhe and the German culture, with the highlight of going to the most popular theme park in Germany – the Europapark in Rust.

Summer Engineering Academy in Suzhou, China:
Join our international team at the Summer Engineering Academy in Suzhou, China. The Engineering Academy is a three day course, compact with the unique combinations of practical and theoretical course programs in engineering as well as leisure activities. The course is aimed at secondary school students that have a passion for mathematics, physics, and technics and are between the ages of 16 and 19.
The many exciting workshops, lectures and company visit provide great insight into the world of mechanical engineering. Lecture topics focus on the compelling subjects of mechanics, mathematics and thermodynamic and are exemplified within the practical workshops.
Additionally, we contribute insight into the specifics of what it will be like to study Mechanical Engineering at an international university level. The young talents also learn about future job perspectives of an engineer that holds an international profile.
Parents of the bright students are invited to listen to a separate, exclusive presentation and are welcome to ask any questions about studying, engineering or life as an international student.
