This course is taught from September to June and you will study a range of both compulsory core modules and a range of options. Following on from the taught stage you will undertake a project with support from a supervisor.
In the autumn semester, you will study five core modules.
In the spring semester, you will study the core Academic Skills and Research Methods module which carries on from the previous semester as well as taking three optional modules from the optional module list.
Upon successful completion of the taught stage, you will undertake the International Management Project.
A typical project involves writing a critical review of the existing literature covering a topic in international management, identifying a way of engaging with that literature through individual critical research and reflection via primary and/or secondary sources and developing a set of conclusions relating to further theoretical, conceptual and empirical research.
You are free to decide whether to focus more on academic, policy-making or managerial issues subject to the approval of your supervisor and the programme director.
