BSc Econ Business Economics

The Economics course is a 3 year full-time course of study, involving both compulsory and optional modules. Students normally attain 120 credits each year and 360 in total.

A significant proportion of the modules included in the programme are taught by the School’s Economics Section while certain modules, notably in year one, are taught by other sections of the School.

Year One

Get to grips with the fundamentals of accounting, statistics and mathematics and jump straight into economic analysis with modules in micro-and macro-economics.

You can discover how these analytical tools intersect with accounting, marketing and strategy, and historical and contemporary economic issues.

How Will I Be Assessed?

Assessment methods vary from module to module but, across your degree scheme as a whole, you can expect a mixture of exams, coursework, essays, practical work, presentations, and individual and group projects.
