Our BScEcon Banking and Finance is designed to equip you with practical skills and professional confidence for a successful career in investment, banking and finance or in preparation for postgraduate study and research.

The Banking and Finance degree is a three-year full-time course of study, involving both compulsory and optional modules. Students normally attain 120 credits each year and 360 in total.
A significant proportion of the modules included in the course are taught by the School’s Economics Section while certain modules, notably in year 1, are taught by other sections of the School.
Year One
Get to grips with the fundamentals of accounting, statistics and mathematics and jump straight into economic analysis with modules in micro-and macro-economics.
You can discover how these analytical tools intersect with law, management and organisation, and historical and contemporary economic issues.
