Health situation, COVID-19:



The Campus Caraïbéen des Arts makes every effort to guarantee the health security of its students and agents. Martinique is currently one of the regions placed in the green zone and a weak circulation of COVID-19 has been observed in the territory for several weeks.

The art option offers students the opportunity to acquire artistic skills and to articulate high-level practical, theoretical, technological and plastic skills that will allow them to gain autonomy in the professional fields of research. artistic.

The teachings address and question the practices of contemporary art and generate a relationship with other practices and knowledge such as science and the humanities. The Caribbean dimension of the Martinique region is part of a permanent contextualization of practices and knowledge.

Short cycle

The National Diploma of Art (ADN) is awarded at the end of the 3rd year of studies and closes the 1st cycle of the long course.

Diploma certified at the Bac 3 level, it allows to pursue university studies. It gives the opportunity to enroll in the master cycle of visual arts education.

Long cycle

The National Higher Diploma of Plastic Expression (DNSEP) is presented at the end of the 5th year of studies. Diploma approved at the level of Bac 5 (level I of the professional repertoire) and worth European master's degree, it can eventually pursue studies in postgraduate university or postgraduate art schools.

The art option is supplemented with two mentions:

  • The mention art.
  • The mention object design.

Registration procedure

Admission in the first year is mandatory by competition. Two sessions are organized each year, one in March, the other in September.

Upon registration opening, a form is made available to the candidate from the school's website. Supporting documents should be downloaded from this form. The candidate will have to validate his registration on line and after verification of the file by the services of the school, he will receive his invitation to the contest of entrance.

Dates of the program

2020-2021 academic year:

  • Dematerialized entrance examination for the 1st year, session 1: May 25 and 26, 2020 (application deadline closed)
  • Dematerialized 1st year entrance exam, session 2: September 15 and 16, 2020
  • Registration deadline: Thursday September 10, 2020
  • Admission and equivalence committee (admission during the course): Friday September 18, 2020
  • Return of students: face-to-face classes will begin according to the evolution of the health situation and in accordance with government measures. Desired date: Monday, October 12, 2020
