Introduction
This course is designed to give you the practical skills and knowledge needed for a huge variety of jobs in animal care and related industries or higher-level study at university.
You will complete work experience, along with the opportunity to study a wide range of specialist units in animal science, business and industry-related subjects.
There will be 1 external exam for Unit 3 Animal Welfare and Ethics. You will complete a further 4 modules including Animal Health and Diseases, Animal Behaviour, Practical Animal Husbandry and Work Experience. A minimum of 75 hours of Industry Placement must be completed.
