Key Summary
Introduction
This program offers 3 curricula (2 offered entirely in Italian and 1 in English):
- Data Science (taught in English)
- European Computer Science (taught in Italian)
- Technologies and Information Science (taught in Italian)
Data Science curriculum: students will acquire skills that are at the heart of a data scientist’s profession, which has become topical due to the large amount of digital data generated on a daily basis by various human activities.
Technologies and Information Science curriculum: students will be able to deepen their knowledge of some of the professionalising IT content in the field of Computer Science, such as web technologies and design, or the administration of IT systems.
European Computer Science curriculum: students will have the opportunity to spend a year studying abroad in one of the European partner universities and obtain a double degree -- both an Italian one and that of the chosen European country.
Laboratory and practical activities and an active use of English, in particular technical English specific to ICT, are integral to the courses.
Once in your second year, it is also possible to apply to shift into the double-degree European Computer Science curriculum, which allows high-achieving students to carry out their final year of study at one of several partner institutions in Germany, Spain, France, Finland, Portugal and Romania.

The programme offers three curricula

- European Computer Science (entirely taught in Italian)
- Technologies and Information Science (entirely taught in Italian)
Some of the areas of study covered by the curriculum in Data Science include:

- Data wrangling and visualization
Students enrolled in the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science have the opportunity to obtain a double degree in European Computer Science (ECS) at one of the partner Universities joining the ECS Consortium.

Career Opportunities
Graduates can pursue careers in the software production and data analysis sectors with manufacturing companies in the fields of information systems and processor networks, or with organisations, local authorities and professional laboratories that work with complex information processing systems and methods.

Ca’ Foscari University offers 8 high-achieving international students, intersted in a bachelor degree programme, renewable scholarship packages of 10,000 euro a year
