About: PhD Thesis Research in Environmental Sciences at The Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST) is a government-supported, research-intensive offering established under the BIUST Act (CAP 57:05). BIUST focuses on engineering, science and technology at postgraduate levels, sits on a 2,500-hectare ecologically diverse campus in the Tswapong Hills near Palapye, and aims to shift Botswana’s economy from resource-based to knowledge-based through capacity building and environmental research.
