In designing an online option for one of the oldest Tax LLM Programs in the US, it was crucially important to ensure that the same quality that the program is known for is experienced by online students. As a result, all Tax LLM students, whether enrolled residentially or online receive the same high-quality instruction from our renowned faculty. In addition, all students receive individualized academic advising and professional development resources and are eligible to participate in employer recruiting events during the final year of their studies. No additional notation is added on LLM in Taxation diplomas and transcripts between residential and online courses or degrees.

The majority of students are experienced attorneys working in a variety of legal settings across the United States and abroad. Admission to the Graduate Tax Program’s online option is selective, and applicants must meet all the same requirements as residential applicants. To apply, applicants must hold a first degree in law (JD or LLB) from an accredited US law school, or law school abroad.

Students enrolled in the online option pay the same LLM tuition rate as residential Tax LLM students.
