About: Students who attend Blake Austin College’s 600-hour Spa Nail Technician program learn basic and advanced techniques to meet State Board requirements and prepare for licensure. Instruction covers nail design, manicure and pedicure services, hand and foot massage, reflexology, and salon experience in a student salon, manicure and pedicure stations, classrooms, esthetics spa, and boutique.
Career Outcomes: Graduates can work as spa nail technicians, manicurists, pedicurists, salon nail artists, or spa technicians in resorts, day spas, salons, or as mobile service providers. Training develops nail care, nail art, client service, sanitation, and employment readiness for the nail and beauty industry.
