Bitterroot College Low-Pressure Boiler Operator program is a Workforce Training program thatΒ doesΒ not require college admission.

Licensed Low-Pressure Boiler Engineers may run steam boilers operated not above 15 psi and water boilers operating not above 50 psi and 250Β° temperature. To obtain an MT DLI Low-Pressure Boiler Engineer License, students must complete an approved Low-Pressure Boiler course, complete a minimum of 40-hours experience under a licensed boiler engineer and pass a written exam.Β This program does NOT provide or assist with placement in a 40-hour experience under a licensed boiler engineer (a licensure requirement).

The course instructor is Bill Fisher, approve MT DLI instructor for 4th Class (Low Pressure) and 3rd Class (High Pressure) boiler education. The course provides 40 hours of instruction.
