Introduction

Nail a career in carpentry! As an apprentice carpenter, you can expect to be hands-on with every stage of the building process. Whether working as part of a team or under supervision you will use machinery and tools to create structures for components from the designs plans and specifications of architects and designers to meet the clients’ expectations.

A Site Carpenter will normally work on a building site, or in domestic and commercial premises, preparing and fixing building components, from the initial erection of a new building, through to the installation of all necessary fixtures and fittings, as well as a range of repair and maintenance activities.
