Academic Research Internship Program

Gain hands-on research experience working alongside a BGU faculty member during a 3 to 12-month internship. The Program aims to provide a flexible tailor-made framework. Students from diverse academic backgrounds, both undergraduate and graduate, can conduct their internship within BGU and outside of the university, through practical work assignments and experience. The first step is to find a host with research interests that match your academic background and goals. An internship can be conducted in all 6 BGU faculties, in all fields of research.

• Explore Israel via trips throughout the country- Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, hikes in the Negev desert and in the north.
• Get to know Israelis- enjoy joint events, go to pub nights with the local crowd, discover Israelis' point of view on current affairs, and have the opportunity to celebrate holidays the Israeli way.
• Merge into BGU's social life- join the student union's festivities and events and experience the unique BGU social life.

Academic Framework

Under the supervision of professional supervisors, students may typically be assigned to some or all of the following responsibilities: review literature, undertake research in a particular subject area, collect information on topics related to the subject area, organize data and documents, guide and participate in on-going research projects.
