About: The Art and Design Photography programme focuses on developing creative and technical skills in photography. You'll engage in a variety of projects that emphasize conceptual thinking and the exploration of photographic mediums. Career Outcomes: Graduates can pursue careers in numerous fields, such as commercial photography, photojournalism, or gallery curatorship. Other potential paths include working as freelance photographers or pursuing roles in media and advertising agencies.

Exploring both traditional and digital photography, you will produce work which will show your development and understanding of photography, learn how to use SLR/digital cameras, how the studio works, develop black and white film, darkroom skills and various Photoshop techniques.

Throughout the year, you will learn how photographers have produced work to enable you to appreciate the processes that are needed to be successful. It would help if you were self-motivated and want to learn and develop new skills. There will be a location photoshoot and gallery visit to inspire your personal development and enrich your course.
