Introduction
Sustainable, creative leadership is at the core of our curriculum. Although represented by its own strand, the principles of sustainability and innovation are at the heart of our overall approach and run throughout the entire program. You will learn how to cultivate new and different ways of seeing, interpreting, behaving, and acting in the world while also developing an inspiring, authentic and adaptive leadership identity and practice that enables you to collaborate successfully with others, create value, generate revenue, build cultures of creativity and meaning, and uphold the values of social and environmental sustainability in the face of complex and ongoing change in the modern business world.

Over the past 15 years, ever since we pioneered the world's first Executive MBA in Creative Leadership, we've been approached by many brilliant creative business minds who were keen to develop their leadership skills and join our global community of creative business leaders but, for one reason or another, we're unable to attend our EMBA program.

With a choice of two majors — Management, Entrepreneurship & Strategy or Innovation, Technology & Digitalization — the Master of Science in Sustainable and Creative Leadership has been developed for promising, established professionals who want to become strategic entrepreneurs and digital innovators who know how to cultivate a deep understanding of business creativity in a way that prioritizes and promotes social and environmental sustainability in the modern business world.
Our students are entrepreneurial, creative and want to co-design the future, whether that’s by leading within the creative industries or by spearheading and shaping innovation across other industries through exceptional, insightful, and visionary leadership, and we teach the leadership skills necessary to do so.
Recent participants in our EMBA programs have included media, culture, finance, and tech professionals as well as consultants, startup founders, and entrepreneurs from across a wide range of industries, and we anticipate that our master’s degree program will attract students from similar backgrounds throughout the business world.

Program structure
The Master of Science in Sustainable and Creative Leadership — which is awarded by Steinbeis University Berlin and accredited by FIBAA — is built on three interwoven study streams: fundamental business expertise, sustainable and creative leadership skills, and critical technology-driven knowledge that's suited to the future.
Curriculum
You will study foundational business and management strategies before focusing on topics that are specific to your chosen major. Sustainable and creative leadership skills will be taught in separate classes and woven throughout the program. Once you have completed the required courses, you can dive deeper into specialized topics through our optional electives before completing the Innovation Project and the Master’s Challenge, all of which will help prepare you for the modern business world.
