Train professionals, specialists and researchers, in each area of ​​urban planning, urban management and environmental impact in their rural and urban context, to understand and propose social, economic, political and technical guidelines, according to development, with the viability to generate proposals for socially consensual land use planning; in the attention of the requirements that the Oaxacan society, regional and national, demands in and for urban solutions and territorial reorganization of and, in its population centers; to intervene participatively in the workplace and contribute to the detection and possible solution of associated problems, promoting collaboration between professionals and the creation of networks that facilitate the generation, dissemination and application of knowledge by the public, academic and private sectors.
