Introduction
The tourism business is a fusion of international and intercultural aspects with close connections to the event industry, as well as the hotel and catering industry, exhibition and events management, and sport, wellness, and health management. As a result, there is a multitude of options available to students after graduation. The size of the market and the broad range of services offered, combined with the industry’s lack of skilled employees means, that there is a growing need for trained professionals to take on roles in middle and senior management.
We have designed our Management degree program with a major in tourism around specific observations and experiences from the tourism industry. This means that the course has a strong practical focus and students will learn about the latest trends, as well as aspects of digitalization relevant to this sector of the economy. bbw University of Applied Sciences has close contacts in the industry and an excellent international business network with a special focus on Italy.
