Key Summary
This MSc is for ambitious graduates who want to build careers in the global real estate industry. You’ll thrive here if you are intellectually curious, motivated to understand how real estate fits into capital markets and the wider economy, and eager to learn directly from industry practitioners. Students typically pursue careers as chartered surveyors, analysts, fund managers, lenders, or in real estate private equity and family businesses.
You’ll graduate with the analytical and practical skills needed to succeed in real estate investment, development and management. By the end of the programme you will:
- Value and finance buildings and undertake professional-standard development appraisals
- Analyse REITs and funds that own global real estate assets
- Build advanced Excel-based cash flow and financial models prized by employers
- Apply capital markets knowledge to assess risks and opportunities in property investment
