Students in the BFA in Acting may audition for an optional musical theater emphasis.

Azusa Pacific University Theater Arts offers a nationally ranked top-30 Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Acting for the Stage and Screen with an optional musical theater emphasis. APU Theater Arts students perform in main stage productions, studio shows, short films, animation voice-overs, web series, and an L.A. industry showcase.

Theater Arts Talent Scholarship
The Department of Theater Arts at APU awards scholarships to students who show strong promise of making an impact in theater at APU. To be eligible for a scholarship, you must be a theater major. Submitting your audition materials automatically enters you for consideration for a theater arts talent scholarship.
Requirements
The BFA in Acting for the Stage and Screen is a four-year cohort degree program. All acting, voice, and movement courses have prerequisites, and students must take courses with their cohort in sequence.
Students must earn a 2.0 in each of their major courses and meet policies outlined in the Department of Theater Arts handbook. Failure to do so can result in probation.
