Introduction

The Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) Certificate program is designed as a non-degree course credit option for nurses with a master’s degree in nursing. This program prepares students to provide primary care to young adults, adults, and older adults across the continuum of care from wellness to illness, in settings including community health centers and clinics, private medical practices, long-term care facilities, and patient homes.

We'll help you graduate ready to work as a nurse practitioner with adults in primary health care settings. We’ll support you through evening lectures and custom clinical experiences in line with your nursing career. We’ll prepare you to apply for national certification by testing with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board or the American Nurses Credentialing Center—and you may be eligible for California advanced practice certification. This program is designed for working professionals with a master’s degree in nursing.
