Introduction
The Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Certificate program is a non-degree course credit option for nurses with a master’s degree in nursing. This program provides theory and clinical experiences to prepare nurses to apply to the state of California Board of Registered Nursing for certification and to apply for national certification as an adult clinical nurse specialist (CNS) by examination.
We'll help you graduate ready to apply for certification as an adult clinical nurse specialist (CNS). We’ll support developing your learning with evening lectures and customized clinical experiences that compliment your nursing career. Testing with the American Nurses Credentialing Center could make you eligible for California advanced practice certification. This program is designed for working professionals with a master’s degree in nursing.
