Introduction
BA in International Relations & Global Politics
AUR’s International Relations and Global Politics Program brings together the academic excellence offered by our fantastic faculty and the opportunity of internships in organizations around the world to form an outstanding formation in the field.
Numerous international organizations such as the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, World Food Programme, International Fund for Agricultural Development, and Bioversity International have their headquarters in Rome. Its status as a capital city means that it is home to the political heart of Italy, as well as hundreds of foreign embassies and cultural institutions. This program allows students to be a part of the action.
Students accumulate practical and theoretical skills which give them excellent grounding for careers in the field of international relations. The curriculum focuses on Europe, the Mediterranean and the Middle East, while also taking into consideration the role and influence of the United States on the global stage. Courses are offered in politics, economics, public administration, law, and other areas of related interest. Students see their topics of study in action by attending international conferences addressing topical issues, presenting them with the opportunity to meet, listen to and question those who develop and implement international relations policy.
