Scholarships are available and based on merit. Incoming students can either receive a reduction in tuition fees prior to the program start based on their applicationโs academic strength; or students can receive similar reductions for exceptional performance during the program. From September 2025 onwards AUEB will be offering its first English-taught 4-year bachelor program in Athens, targeted exclusively to international students. The BSc International Business & Technology (iBT) is an interdisciplinary program that prepares students for a global career at the interface of international business and its related technologies. All AUEB departments participate in the iBT program. The program includes courses ranging from strategy, economics, every facet of business (accounting, finance, marketing), and entrepreneurship to AI, business analytics, web app development, and blockchain technologies amongst others. Depending on their preferences students can choose to focus more on the business or the technology aspect of the program.

AUEB is centrally located in downtown Athens, clustered in various buildings around Areos Park. The main University building, Marasleio Megaro, is located at 76 Patission (28is Oktovriou) Street, a 5-minutes walk away from the National Archaeological Museum. The backside of the building faces the Pedion Areos Park and the Panellinion Sports Club.
Many bus lines pass in front of the University, and a train station (Viktoria Station) is located only one block away from the main building. The general area where AUEB is situated, Kypseli, is a pleasant and lively suburb with many restaurants, cafes, shops and theatres.
