Introduction

[Afrikaans: Baccalaureusgraad in Grondslagfase Onderwys]

(Gr 0-3) enables students to understand the principles of education (specifically up to this phase) and to apply these principles in actual practice. Aros’ educational degree programmes are aimed at providing students with a substantial theoretical basis while combining valuable practical experience with theory.

The various specialisations within the curriculum focus on literacy, numeracy and life skills.

The graduation level for the qualification is NKR level 7 (510 credits) and enables graduates to teach in private and public schools (SAQA qualification no 86167).
