Arel Üniversitesi which provides education at undergraduate and graduate (master's and proficiency in art) levels, has adopted a curriculum that aims to improve students' personal characteristics and design skills and adapt to today's conditions. In the Department of Graphic Design, it is aimed to train creative and entrepreneurial designers and managers who have a strong artistic culture, understand the basic techniques and artistic subtleties of graphic design. A 50% Arts and Talent Support Scholarship is given to each student who succeeds in the special talent exam organized by our university and makes a final registration. There are no conditions for the continuation of the scholarships. The scholarship will continue for 4 academic years regardless of the GPA. The primary goals of the Graphic Design Department, which gave its first graduates in the 20112012 academic year, are to provide a qualified design education by maximizing the quality of education and to prepare students for business life. With the rapid development of technology and the spreading of business areas to a wide range, the need for graphic designers is gradually increasing. In this context, the importance of graphic designers comes to the forefront in the integration of drawing, painting, photography and writing, and enabling communication using computer and multimedia techniques.
