Offering education options in two different languages, Turkish and English, Istanbul Arel Üniversitesi Department of Computer Engineering aims to enable students to form a basis on computer design, analysis and computer applications and to adapt to rapidly changing technology. The department also aims to raise creative and participatory individuals who can follow the technological and scientific developments in the field of informatics, have the power of numerical and academic thinking and scientific production, adopt science and experiment as the basis, can produce technology and science, and transform internationally produced knowledge into social and industrial benefit . Computer Engineering Department students; As they are trained in basic topics such as basic theories of computer science, computer architecture, computer software, programming languages, data structures, databases, operating systems, network technologies and digital design; Career goals by taking elective courses in special subjects such as advanced software processes and management, quality assurance in software, expert systems, wireless communication, network programming, network security, robot technologies, embedded systems, artificial neural networks, artificial intelligence, semantic web technologies and data mining. They also have the opportunity to learn new technologies.
