Introduction

The Actor of the IP-Arcos is a professional expert in the interpretation and creation of stage narratives, for which he imagines, produces, and communicates hermeneutical solutions through his body in relation to the various stage languages.

With this, he creates an artistic proposal based on his sensitivity, aesthetic knowledge, authorial position, uniqueness, appropriation, and link with social reality and his artistic field.

It directs its work preferably to the challenges posed by both the performing and audiovisual arts within the professional field of culture and creative industries, participating as an interpreter and creator, member, and collaborator in the conception, design, interpretation, and/or production of scenic projects. He is also competent in the development of training actions in which the theater is placed at the service of various teaching processes.

The IP-ARCOS expects from its graduates a professional performance that integrates experience, memory, belonging, and identity into their creative process and in their relationship with the public. With this, we hope that our professionals will be able to look at and interpret their environment sensitively to create in a contextualized, critical and situated way in the community of practice of which they are part. We promote flexible and interdisciplinary training that favors the installation of spaces for the creation of complex integrated knowledge, with professional networks and the construction of common and collaborative identities.
