Key Summary
Becoming a proficient game designer requires hands-on experience, and we recognize the challenges in finding that initial foothold. At ARC Academy, we’re changing the game by offering an entirely practical Distance Learning Game Design program.
All teaching is delivered online in a convenient manner allowing people with different levels of responsibility to enroll. The lecturing staff are experienced professionals with several years spent in studios. Theoretical lectures are held to a minimum and the focus is on hands-on training. Our students can enjoy real-time feedback from their instructors, creating a supportive and interactive learning environment.
The program is tailored for individuals with a passion for game creation but face constraints such as busy schedules, a desire for online learning, and the inability to relocate. The game designer creates the game’s story, outlines the boundaries of the world, and defines the relationships between the characters. He does not paint, but he is an artist, he does not program, but he needs to understand the logic behind the relevant actions in the games. Fourth Semester: Game Lab
The 4th semester is the highlight of the Program. This is when when students from all programs (game design, concept art and 3D art ) come together to create a game prototype with a studio producer. Students will have the chance to work on a project in a realistic manner and gain skills that are easily transferable to any work place.
