The air industry was hit hard by the pandemic. Passenger numbers plummeted, demand collapsed and airports lay empty. Demand has re-bounded and airports have struggled to meet this demand. The successful management of an airline and airports requires a diverse skillset to cope with this complex, unpredictable and highly competitive industry. This specialised program allows you to dig deep into the air transport eco-system and will provide you with strategic insights, analytical tools and managerial expertise that are vital in this challenging sector. You’ll be introduced to a wide industry network to allow you to realise your future career in the sector.

This highly interactive program provides you with sound academic management and research fundamentals combined with an in-depth ‘real-world’ knowledge of the air transport industry. You’ll be immersed in managerial, strategic and organisational courses to bridge the gap between theoretical study and the realities of working in the airline industry as a trusted manager. The practical approach to teaching is specifically designed to prepare you for a career in management in the air sector and enable you to develop the correct skillset to thrive. Not only will you study finance, economics and forecasting in the air transport sector, but you will focus additionally on marketing, strategy and revenue management. This combined gives you a 360 degree view of the specifics of the industry.
