Become part of the community.

AIC isn’t just where you go to school — it’s your home away from home.

In addition to an inspiring learning environment, we want to create an inspiring living environment too. We want you to love where you sleep and hang out, enjoy nutritious meals and always feel safe and protected.

Housing

There are three residence halls on campus and two near our athletic fields. Living on campus is a great way to connect with other students — and the college itself.

Dining

Find whatever you’re in the mood for, from hand-carved sandwiches to freshly prepared entrees in the Dining Commons. For a quick snack, hit up the Hive. Or chill out in the Stinger, our new pub and lounge.

Campus Safety

We give students an urban college experience with a suburban feeling. Our campus is incredibly safe, thanks to 24/7 patrolling by our campus police officers and monitored access to each residence hall.

CARE Team

The Concerns Assessment, Referral, & Education (CARE) Team is a group of professionals from across the campus and across disciplines that reviews cases and implements timely interventions for student situations where student behavior raises concern.

Office of International Student Life

The Office of International Student Life is here to answer your questions and help you in adjusting to your new American home and campus family.

Shea Library

The mission of James J. Shea Sr. Memorial Library is to assist the American International College community in their quest for knowledge by providing resources and services that support information literacy, encourage life-long learning and promote personal fulfillment.

Campus Resources

Have questions? We have information. Get a student handbook, learn what to bring with you to college, find your way around with a campus map, see where you need a permit to park and more.

    Clubs & Organizations

Participating in student clubs and organizations is a great way to get involved at AIC and immerse yourself in our community. It’s also a way to meet new people, explore career opportunities, and have a huge impact on campus events.

Want to get even more involved? Each club or organization has several students who take on leadership roles to help guide the organization at a higher level. Become a club or organization officer and take on this exciting leadership opportunity.

    Service and Leadership

AIC offers many opportunities to grow and develop as an individual and a leader. From club and organization leadership positions, to the Student Government Association, to being a captain of a sports team, the possibilities are endless.

What is leadership? That is up to you! There are many types of leaders, and it is important to know your strengths. Getting involved will help you create your definition of what it means to be a leader.

    • Student Government Association - The mission of the Student Government Association at American International College is to represent the student body and improve the college experience. As such, the Student Government Association serves as the official mechanism for information gathering and dissemination with a commitment to transparency, accountability, and leadership. The membership of the SGA, comprised of three sub-groups, the Executive Committee, the Senate, and Class Boards, is a group of your peers who are elected to advocate on your behalf. Run for a position, provide your feedback, and encourage others to do the same to create a better AIC for you!
    • AIC Co-Curricular Awards - The Co-Curricular Awards are an opportunity to recognize outstanding undergraduate students for their exemplary service to AIC and the community.

    Athletics & Fitness

AIC’s Athletics program provides an exceptional, holistic, student-centered experience through the relentless pursuit of academic and athletic excellence, and fosters an environment of learning and growth that transforms lives and enhances student-athlete personal development. With more than 20 NCAA Division II varsity athletics programs, a Division I men’s ice hockey team, and several emerging and club teams, athletics are a core part of the AIC experience. Since 2018, the Yellow Jackets have held 6 national and 8 regional titles across all competitions, and nearly 50% of AIC undergraduate students participate in sports during their college experience.
