In response to a growing demand for practitioners capable of assuming a wide range of roles in physicianโ€™s offices and other healthcare settings, Amarillo College established a Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) program in 2014. Graduates are entitled to sit for national certification exams. ACโ€™s first cohort to emerge from the program unanimously passed those exams โ€“ clear evidence that AC students are optimally equipped to enter the workforce.
